How come there are so many missing & exploited teens & guys?
Every time I get the coupon ads in the mail or go to WalMart, I see so many of them.

These guys grow up thinking they are not valued by their parents, so they must not be worth much.

Think about it - in our society the greatest gift you can bestow another human is the gift of your time and your attention. Each moment we have dozens and more things we could and/or should be doing. How we chose to spend our time tells us and others around us what we value. Spend time with your guys = you value and like them, they, in turn, will value and like themselves, and would therefore NEVER attract abusive, dangerous people to themselves as they get older. They feel worthy of living a good life and they have been shown how to live a good life.

Sadly, parents can get so distracted from giving that precious gift of time to make their guys feel valued. Devalued guys do not have much self-worth and will seek love, attention and affection "in all the wrong places".

As a aprent, give your time and your love and attention = guys have a positive expecation for themselves and the people and situations they will and will not tolerate.

The best gift you can give your guys is the gift of your time and your attention. Simple formula, hard to live it every day, well worth doing so as a parent...

They have to make themselves look good in the eye of the public. They know teens are affected by peer pressure and a majority of those that they give the message "don't smoke" to will probably end up smoking just for the simple fact that they were told not to and the teen is a rebellious sort. They do just the opposite of what they are told to do. It's all about money. BIG money.

It actually goes deeper than that. Tobacco companies are not allowed to advertise on TV or radio in the US.
BUT, now they can advertise, and put their name out their, without actually advertising the product. Now they use the guise of an anti-smoking commercial to push their product, and brand loyalty on adults and guyren alike. This should be the outrage. Before they were not allowed to advertise at all, now they have found a loophole, posing in the interest of non-smokers and anti-smoking. This should be stopped.
